Margaret Mubanda
Margaret is a mother, foster parent, grandmother, teacher, and a social worker with Min. of Children Family development. Together with her husband and family, they came to Canada to advance their academic dreams. Margaret completed a Diploma and Masters' Degree in Christian Studies/Applied Theology majoring in Leadership, Marriage and Family counseling at Regent College in British Columbia. While living in Canada, Margaret has worked with several African groups in attempt to build a strong African community in BC, and she will continue to do so because she believes that All Africans without exception have the ability, skills and knowledge to improve their living conditions back home and abroad as well. She has also served on various local community boards in different positions. Currently, Margaret is a treasurer of Ugandan Canadian National Association, Daughters of Hope International Community, Aboriginal International Missions (founding member), and anactive member of Charles Owor Foundation. |
